The Cafe 

The Stationhouse Cafe was built in 1901 as the Stationmaster's residence and in 1963 the house next door was build for the Stationmaster and whilst this residence was use for railway staff.  In the 1970 the railway sold this house as a private residence. In 1992 Wayne and Chrissy Freitas bought the building with the intension of opening a Café.  In November 1993 it was turned into a Café, serving lunches, morning and afternoon teas. A few years later the demand for evening dining increased café.  In January 2001, Jan and Peter Mac purchased the Café and made numerous changes to the building and over time minor adjustments.
